The steak is great! And red salsa! I had enchiladas with steak and I just thought that tortillas were a bit to thick for my taste, bit other than that, I loved it. Probably one of the beat mexican restaurants in the area!

I had an amazing experience at this taco restaurant! The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly, and the food was outstanding. I ordered a burrito, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, generous in portion, and full of fresh ingredients. Every bite had the right balance of flavor and texture. This place is definitely a hidden gem, and I’ll be coming back soon to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing. Best Mexican you’ll find in this area and that’s because they’re from Chicago. I’ve been to their original location and it’s just as good. I’m so happy they opened near my house because nothing in this area competes with them

We brought a group of 30 high school students to Meson del Taco Jr, and the entire experience was absolutely exceptional. The staff was incredibly understanding, attentive, polite, and genuinely grateful to host us. They handled our large group with ease and professionalism beyond my expectations. Every detail — from the service to the timing — was handled perfectly. Most importantly, the food was phenomenal! The students couldn’t stop talking about how flavorful and authentic every dish was. Meson del Taco Jr truly captured the essence of great Mexican cuisine and hospitality. We are so thankful for their warmth and professionalism — we’ll definitely be returning!

Friendly and genuine service. Great food. The steak tacos are legit. They are extremely flavorful and the meat itself seems to me as if it is ribeye. May be wrong but it’s definitely of high quality.

We ordered tortas (steak and pork), tacos and quesadilla. All of the meat was flavorful and you can tell it was fresh! Torta bun was our favorite, seems so fresh and doesn't fall apart. We loved the spicy salsa too!! We definitely will be back, it was all so delicious!! I think you guys need a bigger sign at the corner so you guys can stay in elk grove forever!! Our new favorite place for Mexican food!!!

Picked up food for my family and I must say it was some of the best Mexican food I've had in the EG area. I recommend the steak and the al pastor! Fair prices as well.
